Opening and artist reception on Saturday, Sept. 7, 1 – 6pm. Over 60 paintings in this exhibition at Gallery C, 66 E. Cuyahoga Falls Ave., Akron 44310.
In what was once a North Hill neighborhood hardware store, this 100 year-old building became an ad agency for 32 years. Gallery C now opens with an exhibition of the paintings of Akron artist, Steve Caler. This showing of lyrical abstract works will be on display for 60 days beginning September 7th, 2019. All art is for sale.
Steve Caler received his BFA from Columbus College of Art and Design. While living in New York City, he studied at The Art Students League, The Art Institute of New York and the School of Visual Arts NYC. He has traveled extensively throughout the U.S., Canada, South America and Africa. A lengthy tour of Europe enabled him to study art in 11 countries – as far north as Finland and as far south as Crete. His paintings have been exhibited throughout the midwest. He lives with his wife, Doreen, in Akron, Ohio.
