DTCF Vintage Day

DTCF Vintage Day

Presented by Downtown Cuyahoga Falls Partnership at Cuyahoga Falls Downtown Pavilion

Downtown Cuyahoga Falls will travel back in time on Saturday, November 9 from 1pm-4pm for its first Vintage Day: A Walk to Remember on Front Street and Portage Trail.

This free, family-friendly event will feature a scavenger hunt for six “lost leaders” of Cuyahoga Falls, who will be dressed in era-attire and scattered throughout downtown businesses. All those who complete the hunt, will be entered into a drawing to receive prizes.

The community is invited to stroll down Front Street and hear historic music, view historic art, memorabilia and photographs. Over 15 downtown businesses will be participating. Several stores will sell vintage items and add vintage pop-up shops. Guests can enjoy vintage-themed menu items and take in a silent film. The Clifford Shoemaker Car Museum will be open and the Cuyahoga Falls Fire Station #1 will have vintage gear on display. In addition, artist Bill Starcher will be showcase five of his stainless-steel creatures, art made from up-cycled silverware and car tires.

Whether you want to bring your families for the fun, history-themed scavenger hunt or you want to dress up and show off your own vintage clothes, it will be a great afternoon for all ages to be in Downtown Cuyahoga Falls!

This event is made possible through partnerships with the Cuyahoga Falls Historical Society, Collide: Cuyahoga Falls: Cuyahoga Falls Library, Goodwill Industries of Akron, Cuyahoga Falls Chamber Commerce, and the downtown businesses. Event sponsors include Western Reserve Hospital Danbury Senior Living, Collide: Cuyahoga Falls, Unity Health Network, Continuing Healthcare of Cuyahoga Falls, Family Hearing Balance Center, Ronald Hyre – Farmers Insurance, Portage Community Bank, and Angle Insurance Solutions
