Kent State University’s Wind Ensemble will be performing with the Cuyahoga Falls High School Symphonic Band and the Cuyahoga Falls High School Black Concert Band.
Kent State’s Wind Ensemble will present “Masque” by Kenneth Hesketh and “Forever Radiant” by Aaron Perrine under the baton of Dr. Wendy K. Matthews, Interim Director of Bands. Graduate Assistant Conductor Mason Smith will lead the ensemble in “Suite of Old American Dances.” Bobby Selvaggio, Director of Jazz Studies, will then join the ensemble to perform “No Beginning, No End” for Jazz Trio and Wind Ensemble by Kenny Werner.
The concert will include performances by the Cuyahoga Fall High School Symphonic Band, under the direction of Dustin Harris, and the Cuyahoga Falls Black Concert Band, under the direction of Kent State alumna Jennifer Culver (BM ‘99, MM ‘09).
