Robert was one of the early pioneers in indie publishing for the comic book, game, and toy industries. His success came with his character Chakan the Forever Man, his signature graphic novella character who was featured and licensed in a SEGA video game in the early 90’s, and released as an action figure in 2019!

In a career spanning over 40 years, Robert is bringing his original drawings from his most loved characters and series such as Chakan the Forever Man, Everyman visual poetry series, RAM toy line, Devil Girl, Dragons, and his pop culture parody trading card set called Superfreeks.

Robert Kraus is an Akron original. Beginning his training at the Central Hower Commercial Arts vocational program, he began working as a professional artist at a local ad agency while still in high school. That experience, and further training at the University of Akron Graphic Design program, prepared him for his future career.

Robert has exhibited at the largest shows in his field including the San Diego, New York, Chicago, and Pittsburgh Comicon.

RAK is currently busy writing, sculpting, and drawing more epic editions and future creations for his fans across the country!
