Party for the Parks! 2020 (CANCELED)

Presented by Friends of Metro Parks at Goodyear Hall

COVID-19 UPDATE

Due to concerns for the health of our supporters, and at the encouragement of medical professionals to limit public gatherings to minimize the spread of the COVID-19 virus, we are canceling the 2020 Party for the Parks! event.

If you purchased a ticket, you are eligible for a full refund. If you would like reimbursement for your ticket, please email bambrisco@friendsofmetroparks.org At this time, we do not have plans to reschedule the event. We do plan to hold a few similar smaller events later this year, and we will transfer your ticket purchase from Party for the Parks! to one of these events, should you choose to attend.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude and thanks to our supporters and our sponsors. With your financial support and encouragement, we are able to develop the next generation of park enthusiasts and conservationists. We would also like to thank our partners at the Summit Metro Parks for their efforts to deliver the Pathways to Parks and Outdoor RX programs to Summit County residents.

Thank you for your support, and we look forward to the next time we can Party for the Parks!

Sincerely, The Friends of Metro Parks

***

A collaborative effort between Summit Metro Parks and Friends of Metro Parks, Pathways to Parks provides inner-city children with access to our parks where they can learn and connect with nature. Proceeds from this event will enable us to continue to provide transportation scholarships, teaching kits, and other supplies for this important outreach program.

New for 2020, in cooperation with Summit County Metro Parks, we are launching Outdoor RX for Seniors 55 and up to enjoy a day filled with the healing powers of nature.

With your help, we can sustain and grow these programs!

Live music will be provided by Zach Freidhof.
