Your mission is to locate the power-up items hidden at each of the six landmarks. Once a power-up item is found, take a selfie with the power-up item and post the image to Facebook or Instagram using the hashtag #akrondiscoveries. A Downtown Quest is a community engagement project that Artist-in-Residence Timothy Gaewsky developed in conjunction with his month-long residency with Akron Soul Train. Created as a fun, participatory event, Akron Discoveries takes inspiration from quests offered in role playing video games. Individuals or families can assume the role of the Hero and explore historic and art-based landmarks across downtown Akron.
