An Introduction to the Art of Bollywood Dance

The Center for Applied Drama and Autism is proud to present an exciting new virtual workshop taught by Bhawna Sudhir. A proud mother of two children with special needs, Ms. B is the founder and director of Dancing Bells, LLC, a platform to sensitize individuals with different capabilities to express themselves and interact with each other through dance and movement. She holds several certifications from Dance Education Laboratory and Lincoln Center of Performing Arts Education in New York and earlier this year, she completed CADA’s Drama for People with Autism and Disabilities teacher’s training. Bhawna is a practicing teaching artist who creates authentic, interactive and individually-tailored sessions for all ability groups.

An Introduction to the Art of Bollywood Dance: Saturday, October 17 from 3-4PM. Participants will explore the history of India’s dance traditions through dance-making, structured group discussions and journal writing. Prior knowledge of dance and music is not required and classes are open to families of all cultures.
