Wandering Aesthetics - Summer CAMP: Spotlight

Wandering Aesthetics - Summer CAMP: Spotlight

Presented by Wandering Aesthetics at Unknown

”You could be your own spotlight!”

– Patrick Stump

For the very first time, Wandering Aesthetics is offering our highly popular Summer CAMP for teenage performers (ages 13-19) “down on the farm”.

Join Wandering Aesthetics’ Director of Education Kyle Jozsa and Teaching Artist Matt Dodds as they work with the performers to hone their audition skills. From monologue development to cold reads, students will dive into the do’s and don’ts of auditioning.

This summer camp is a great way for older students interested in theatre to learn more advanced concepts of live performance and further develop these skills. Each morning, in his engaging style, Jozsa will use exercises to teach students the fundamentals of auditioning. Each afternoon, students will use what they’ve learned to develop a monologue and work on cold reads. The week will culminate in a mock audition and final performance for friends and family (Utilizing proper social distancing practices).

Students should bring a water bottle & brown bag lunch.

* There will be a final presentation held on the afternoon of Friday, August 6th.
