UA Choirs will host a virtual concert, “Optimism,” on Saturday, May 1 at 7:30 p.m.  Led by Marie Bucoy-Calavan, the choir will paint, through music, the transition from the effects of COVID-19 to a mindset of optimism and positivity for the future. Through an innovative “music video” format, join the choir in their journey to the light at the end of the tunnel.  The program includes music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Felix Mendelssohn, Franz Joseph Haydn, and Craig Hella Johnson’s rendition of Dolly Parton’s classic “Light of a Clear Blue Morning.”
