Curious about postcards? Does snail-mail bring you joy? Join the Akron Postcard Club at the Institute for Human Science and Culture!
The inaugural meeting of the Akron Postcard Club will be hosted by the Cummings Center’s Institute for Human Science and Culture. This free club invites postcard enthusiasts from Northeast Ohio to gather once a month to explore the history of the medium from prominent artistic themes, unique materials like leather or wooden postcards, and interesting messages written on the cards of the David P. Campbell Postcard Collection. The club will feature interactive discussion on the history and use of postcards, plus DIY crafting to create and modify your own unique cards.
All are welcome, no experience necessary!
