VIRTUAL: A Conversation with David Baldacci

On Tuesday, September 28 at 7 p.m. the Hudson Library & Historical Society will host a live virtual streaming event with New York Times bestselling novelist David Baldacci, best known around the world for his wildly popular suspenseful legal thrillers.

Baldacci published his first novel, Absolute Power, in 1996. The feature film adaptation followed, with Clint Eastwood as its director and star. In total, he has published 43 novels for adults; all have been national and international bestsellers, and several have been adapted for film and television. His novels are published in over 45 languages and in more than 80 countries, with 150 million copies sold worldwide. Baldacci has also published seven novels for young readers.

Baldacci is a devoted philanthropist and his greatest efforts are dedicated to his family’s Wish You Well Foundation. A lifelong Virginian, he received his bachelor’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law, after which he practiced law in Washington, D.C.

Copies of Baldacci’s most recent book, A Gambling Man, will be available for purchase courtesy of the Learned Owl Book Shop. Registration for this program is required and a valid email address is required at time of registration. Participants will receive an email invitation to attend the program, hosted on Zoom, a day before the program begins.
