Wind Symphony

Presented by University of Akron School of Music at Guzzetta Hall - University of Akron

Wind Symphony will have its first concert of the semester on Wednesday, October 5 at 7:30 p.m. in Guzzetta Recital Hall.  The program, conducted by Dr. Galen Karriker, features the following works:

Songs Without Words – Charles Rochester Young

Tunbridge Fair – Walter Piston

Conzensus – Jan van der Roost

A Solemn Place – Wayne O’Quin

Three Spectacles for Navy Blue, Op. 48 – Eiji Suzuki

The Crosley March – Henry Fillmore / ed. Loras John Schissel

Parking for audience members attending evening and weekend performances is free in the E.J. Thomas Hall deck when there is not an event in that venue. Handicap-accessible parking for audience members is available in all lots, including the residential surface lot across from Guzzetta Hall.
