About In Due Time by Macey Kowalski
Macey Kowalski, a graduating senior at the Myers School of Art, presents In Due Time, a collection of oil painting that serve as a head-on confrontation with the experience of uncomfortable growth. “My last few years of college have been milestones, and looking back I realized how nerve wracking, or uncomfortable, this large period of growth in my life is,” says Kowalski. “I have used teapots in a lot of my work and my vision of them has morphed into an object that is representative of comfort and growth, something very opposite to my experience.” Kowalski’s paintings present surrealist narratives of early adulthood through a blend of self-portraiture and teapot motifs.

Macey Kowalski was born in 2000 in Cleveland, Ohio. She currently resides in Akron, Ohio where she is attending the University of Akron to obtain her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and Drawing. Macey is primarily interested in the way beings interact with their environment.

About Perceptions and Premonitions by Katarina Zuder
Katarina Zuder, a graduating senior at the Myers School of Art, presents Perceptions and Premonitions. This exhibit takes her love of surrealism, cinematography, and painting to create scenes that explore time philosophy, dream, memory, liminality and esoteric psychology.

Katarina Zuder is an artist from Northeast Ohio who has her BFA concentrated in Painting and Drawing and is minoring in Illustration.
