For the second Civic Saturday in Highland Square, teaching artist and entrepreneur Da’Shika Street will offer Civic Reflections, we’ll hear spoken word poetry from Xposyur, music from Sarah White, community announcements from you, and we’ll gather in Civic Circles to share our thoughts on how we can build a stronger Akron together.

Stay after the program for the Civic Matchmaking Hour to meet your neighbors, enjoy free refreshments from local purveyors like Portal West Coffee, and connect with Akron organizations including The Summit FM, League of Women Voters, Akron Cooperative Farms, Rubber City Reuse, and more, joining us to offer resources, and ways to volunteer and support their impactful work.
