The Akron School for the Arts…

…is housed in Firestone High School. It is the Akron Public Schools’ high school visual and performing arts program. With over 200 students enrolled annually, the program has seen as many as 3,000 students complete the curriculum in the past 15 years. Along with enrollees, thousands of other students have participated in productions, classes, and groups through the program. These students have continued on to have a positive influence on their communities, through both the arts and other careers
