For over 30 years, Claudia Zeber-Martell and Michael Martell have been professional potters and designers, and Akron’s Northside District has been home to their studio for over half that time.

As a painter, Claudia incorporates a wide variety of techniques, colors and designs, making surface decoration a dominant element of their work while Michael, working on the potter’s wheel, continues to develop new and refined shapes. This collaboration has become an enriching process for these two artists, resulting in work that surpasses what each could achieve alone.
