Art, open to the public at the Peg’s Gallery. The way she would want it.

Peg’s Gallery, in the lobby of the Margaret Clark Morgan Building, is one way the Foundation increases awareness and engagement by the general public in the arts. This space is always free and open to the public, which is one way we seeks to increase awareness of and engagement in the arts.

Perhaps, our exhibiting artists put it best:
“*[Exhibiting in Peg’s Gallery] reminded me of my passion for art and the responsibility I have to use it as a necessary mechanism to help and grow others, our community, as well as myself. It revitalized the significance of storytelling and the power of the process of designing artistic narrative as a way to invite others into a conversation with the artist, the artistic product/piece/medium and even with themselves and their narrative story.”

— Justin Hilton, artist
“I have had three solo shows at Peg’s Gallery. Victoria and Jocelyn are both so helpful and wonderful. Rick has collected my work… They have all become friends. I have been painting my entire life and taught in different schools in different states. Had about 25 solo shows at different universities and such. Of all of them, I am most comfortable at your gallery… They really go out of their way to link their mission statement…to the artist…To be able to stand there with that comfort level and talk about yourself and talk about your work and suddenly you see eyes open and then there’s more to the art.”
