The City of Fairlawn manages and maintains the following parks which open at dawn and close at dusk.

The parks are public and are not rentable nor reservable. Everyone may enjoy them at the same time. There are grills at Fort Island/Griffiths and Croghan Park for your use. Portable toilets are available from April through October at Fort Island/Griffiths, Croghan and Fairlawn Parks.

Overview

Bicentennial Park is adjacent to the Fairlawn-Kiwanis Community Center on South Smith Road. The park was created in 1976 with a veterans memorial.

In 1985 a gazebo was constructed, thanks to the Fairlawn City Women’s Club.

The park hosts special events such as the Independence Day fireworks displays and the summer concert series.
