The Thrift Shop
Ronald Taylor studied at The Ohio State University and is Professor Emeritus at the University of Akron, where he taught painting and drawing for thirty years. He has works on display at the Akron Art Museum, the Butler Institute of American Art, The Ohio State University, the University of Akron, and several corporate locations. Painted in 1965, The Thrift Shop was inspired by found items at a thrift shop and the work of Jackson Pollock.
