Best known for her sculpture in a variety of materials, Sister Evangeline Doyle was also accomplished in oil painting, enameling, smithing, and ceramics. She entered the Sisters of St. Dominic after her graduation from Barberton High School and received a degree in Fine Arts from The Catholic University of America. She taught at many area parochial schools, and was artist-in-residence at Our Lady of the Elms High School.
