OUR BUILDING AND ITS HISTORY
The building we are located in was originally built to be The Ritz Theatre. Built in 1942, The Ritz Theatre was a popular Akron hotspot for the latest in motion picture entertainment. The Interbelt Nite Club secured the building in April of 1988 and has operated here since.
In 2017, we celebrated our 30th anniversary!

In this virtual workshop, Rob Greer, Tyron Hoisten, and Elizabeth Tipton will discuss why representation matters in advertising and content creation, drawing on their recent experience participating in ArtsNow’s SEEN initiative. This panel will be moderated by a member of the Arts & Culture Inclusion Council.
