Stan Hywet is Akron’s first and largest National Historic Landmark, and is also the nation’s 6th largest historic home open to the public. It is an accredited museum of the American Alliance of Museums, one of only 26 in Ohio and one of only 776 in all of the United States. The Estate includes five historic buildings and eight historic gardens on 70 acres. The collections and furnishings in the Manor House are all original.

PUBLIC HOURS

Stan Hywet is open to the public, Tuesday-Sunday from 10am – 6pm. The LAST Admission is at 4:30pm. The Manor House is open for tours from 11am – 4:30pm. The estate is closed on Mondays, except Memorial Day and Labor Day, when regular hours are in effect.

Arts & Culture Inclusion Council Presents: Representation Matters- Photography and Ad Spend

In this virtual workshop, Rob Greer, Tyron Hoisten, and Elizabeth Tipton will discuss why representation matters in advertising and content creation, drawing on their recent experience participating in ArtsNow’s SEEN initiative. This panel will be moderated by a member of the Arts & Culture Inclusion Council.

Nonprofit and for-profit leadership and marketing/communication professionals interested in learning about SEEN and participating in a conversation about the importance of authenticity and representation in our work.
