Drawn from the principal players of the world-renowned Academy of St Martin in the Fields, the full chamber ensemble of Academy of St. Martin in the Fields is coming to Akron as part of its 2017 American tour.

Named for the beloved London church, the ensemble and orchestra have played key roles in the revival of baroque performances in London and have earned international acclaim.

  • Antonín Dvořák’s Sextet in A major, Op. 48
  • George Enescu’s Octet for strings in C major, Op. 7 — Enescu is widely hailed as Romania’s most important musician
