“Cheap Trick’s” … The Ultimate Cheap Trick tribute, was born out of a mutual love of the music and the visual presence of the band. When you see and hear this band play, you can’t help but notice the attention to detail in replicating the classic look and sound of the vintage Cheap Trick years ’75-’81. While the band’s visual appeal hails from that era, the band covers a wide spectrum of Cheap Tricks’ vast catalog.
This very enthusiastic tribute to an american classic was conceived by area guitarist DD Norman in 2013. Over the course of the next two years, Akron area bassist Tim Burrows committed to the project, followed by New Philadelphia drummer John Orlando. The band rehearsed as a three piece, auditioning potential singers along the way. The band did secure one at one point in 2015 but due to a scheduling dilemma, each took a different path…the search continued until spring/summer of 2017.With the addition of multi-faceted, longtime Akron veteran rocker Jeff Hardy, the band is bringing the look and feel of classic Cheap Trick to loyal fans everywhere!
