Kusama-Infinity

Presented by Akron Art Museum at Akron Art Museum, Akron OH

Sep 29 2018
Kusama-Infinity

Join Filmmaker Heather Lentz for an exclusive screening of her documentary KUSAMA-INFINITY.

Northeast Ohio is consumed with Kusamamania as Yayoi Kusama’s Infinity Mirrors have taken Cleveland by storm, but Akron isn’t a newcomer to the Kusama craze. Filmmaker Heather Lenz became familiar with Kusama’s work while interning at the Akron Art Museum. Following her experience in Akron, Lenz began a long journey to create a documentary about the artist. She will introduce her film KUSAMA-INFINITY at this exclusive Akron screening of the film and participate in a Q&A with Emily Davis Gallery Director and former Akron Art Museum Collections Manger Arnold Tunstall, who Lenz interned for.
