Marc Lee Shannon w/Ben Gage at Live Music Now

Come see this due featuring Shannon’s vast musical talent utilizing the electric & acoustic guitar, 12 string, mandolin, godin inuk, and Gage’s unique folk sound with a twist.

Akron native and veteran studio and touring guitarist/multi-instrumentalist Marc Lee Shannon left home at 19 to attend the Guitar Institute in Hollywood, at the time when the school featured legendary teachers, clinicians, and the cream of the LA studio scene players. After 11 years of sessions and gigs with many top Alternative Country, Rock, and Soul Artists, he came back home to Ohio. He wound up playing with Northeast Ohio’s favorite son – Michael Stanley – and has been a member of his band since 1994. 23 years and 22 records later he is still making music on Electric and Acoustic Guitar, 12 String, Mandolin, and the Godin Inuk, with one of Ohio’s top drawing acts.

Joining him will be Ben Gage, who in 2014 with his brother, Zach, formed The Gage Brothers. His unique folk sound mixed with traditional Americana roots influences continues to wow audiences all over the region.
