Metal and Stone with Marianne Hite

fun make and take class for all ages 8 and up. A good family class. Students will create projects that makes a silhouette out of metal and is displayed in stone. Learn how to work with these amazing materials and make a finished piece of art in a few hours. Have some ideas in mind of what you are interested in creating or choose from instructor’s suggestions.

Bring gloves to wear to cut out metal. Bring your favorite silhouette to cut out (but not too detailed).

Dates:
Sept 10, 11-1pm;
Sept 23, 4-6pm;
Oct 8, 11-1pm

Cost: $45 for 2-hour class, plus $10 materials fee

Class size: min 4 and max 10 students.

About the artist
Marianne Hite received her B.F.A. from Kent State University in 1987. Since then she has operated her own studio where she resides in the City of Green. Her expressive style employs a variety of techniques such as fusing, enameling, sandblasting, and laminating glass.
