Metalsmithing Basics: All Things Rings - Beginner Level

This class features multiple hand techniques used in fabricating rings in wire and sheet from silver, copper, and brass. Prior soldering skills are helpful but not required. Please wear closed toed shoes and long hair back.

 

 

You have the following options to choose from:

Friday, January 20 6-10 pm
Sunday, January 22 12:30-5:30 pm
Saturday, February 18 12:30-5:30 pm

Minimum 4, maximum 6 students per class.

Registration and class payment required in advance.

Workshop fee is $59 per student. Students will be able to complete one small project during the class. Materials fee is an additional cost with a $10 minimum, will depend on what you use, and will be paid to the instructor during class.

To register call the Peninsula Art Academy at 330-657-2248 Wednesday to Sunday from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Kristina Malcolm is a professional artist and silversmith. She teaches part-time at local universities.
