Growing up in Cleveland, Jonathan studied classical piano and voice before beginning to explore jazz. While majoring in graphic design at Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida, Jonathan regularly performed at a piano bar and continued to develop his fluency in jazz piano technique.

After graduating and returning to Ohio, he began studying online with Dave Frank, one of New York City’s top jazz pianists and former student of the legendary Lennie Tristano. Jonathan appears regularly at Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse in Beachwood and has performed solo and in various ensembles at private events and venues across Northeast Ohio, including the BOP STOP, BLU Jazz+, Vosh, Society Lounge, and others.
