Idle Twittering

Idle Twittering, a flute group from Northeast Ohio, will perform at the Hudson Library & Historical Society on Sunday, October 23 at 2:00 p.m. Join us for a well-rounded afternoon of romantic, baroque, modern and jazz music played on flutes of all shapes and sizes.

The group takes its name from French flutist Louis Fleury’s dismissal of 19th century Romantic music as “idle twittering.” They are comprised of four flutists from Northeast Ohio: Jane Berkner, Kyra Kester, George Pope and Linda White.
