Laura Cortese is well known in folk circles as a vocalist and fiddler who can warm your heart on a cold winter evening. The Dance Cards pair their sophisticated string arrangements and rich vocal harmonies with Cortese's poignant and powerful singing for a performance so lively it may snap their fiddle strings. This is post-folk that seriously rocks.
