Tadmor Temple received its dispensation from the Imperial Shrine on June 5, 1924. The official charter was granted on June 4, 1925. Tadmor has been fortunate to have been served by an outstanding corps of Potentates beginning with Noble Robert E. Lee, who served the first three years from 1924 through 1926. Many of the men who served as Tadmor Potentates were not only great Shriners; they were outstanding Masons and community leaders – serving business, industry, our great fraternity and many community service organizations. Through its clubs and units members of Tadmor have continued to support the children’s hospitals and burn centers always in a spirit of good cheer, fun and fellowship. Every generation of Shriners at Tadmor since that eventful day when the dispensation and charter were granted, have been acutely aware of the great tradition of the Shrine and the legacy of service they have inherited. As in 1924, Tadmor Shrine is committed to continuing that great tradition and upholding the legacy of all Shriners.
