Fear is meant to be conquered. In her lyrics “My soul’s wide open, you can walk right through” Starling invites you on an internal journey, exposing her emotional landscape, alluring you with her sweet & airy yet surprisingly powerful vocals. Much like the songbird who has been known to embed sounds from her surroundings into her own call & whose flight is described as “strong and direct”, Starling’s music rings of personal stories as well as folklore-esque tales reminiscent of The Beatles, Kate Bush and Tori Amos. With her Debut set of songs, Starling of Atlanta GA is calling you to get up close and personal.
