Native Plants: Adventures in the Garden

Learn everything you NEED to KNOW about native plants!

Learn the WHY, WHAT and HOW behind native plant gardening. Years of expertise come together in this workshop, to provide supportive information to guide you in the adventure of native plant gardening in your surroundings. Shaded areas, full sun, woodland edges, wet or dry soils, tiny lots or large; everyone can and should be investing in native plant species! Questions welcomed and encouraged, with time allowed for them through the day. Speakers include Sandy Barbic from Summit Soil & Water, Babette Gowda from Tinker’s Creek Watershed Partners, Meghan Doran from Summit Metro Parks, and Stanley Stine from the City of Twinsburg. Pre-register for free here. Walks in welcome. View flyer.
