Parents Night Out! "Into the Woods"

Let Weathervane take care of the kids for a night! Enjoy a night out to see the musical production of “In to the Woods” on Thursday June 14th and your child will get to take a theater class all at the same time. Kids ages 3-12 will enjoy different theatre games and activities with a fairytale theme with our professional Weathervane Instructors. They might even get a special visit from Cinderella and her Prince. Kids will check-in at 7:00 p.m. and the check-out once the production is over in our upstairs Library.

All participants must pre-register for the event.

One child is $10.00 and two is $15.00. Purchase your tickets for the show through our Box Office prior to registering your child.

About “Into the Woods”:

The Brothers Grimm hit the stage with an epic fairytale about wishes, family and the choices we make.

James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim take everyone’s favorite storybook characters and bring them together for a timeless, yet relevant, piece…and a rare modern classic. The Tony Award-winning book and score are both enchanting and touching.

The story follows a Baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King’s Festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the Baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a Witch’s curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse. Everyone’s wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later with disastrous results.
