Welcome to “Pink-tober”, when our galleries devote activites to benefit The Gathering Place!
The leaves may be changing but for the October 4 Gallery Hop, the featured color is “pink.”
Hudson Fine Art & Framing hosts “In the Pink,” a fundraiser for The Gathering Place, a non-profit community-based cancer support center. Gallery Hop locations will follow suit in saluting women of strength from 5:30-8:30pm.
Hudson Fine Art & Framing and The Red Twig will both raffle small canvases created by local artists. To participate, buy tickets to vote for your favorite and the winners will be selected by raffle at the end of the month.
Hudson Fine Art & Framing will also feature guest artist painter Christine Ries with live music from the Cosmic Witches. The Red Twig will feature photographer Steve Richards of Halcyon Images and refreshments by Nosh.
Fair Trade on Main will host jeweler Debra Kay.
Standing Rock Gallery will show ceramics by Carrie Smith of Kendall Hills Pottery and sell hearts to benefit the Gathering Place.
