The National Guild is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for the 2020 Community Arts Education Leadership Institute (CAELI), an intensive, transformative experience for experienced and developing leaders.

CAELI includes:

  • Group and personalized training
  • A five-day seminar (July 21–25) at Bryn Mawr College in Philadelphia, PA
  • 360-degree feedback process
  • Coaching from leadership experts
  • Membership in the CAELI alumni network of 250+ arts education leaders across the country
  • Access to ongoing alumni professional development opportunities
  • Whether you have spent years as an arts education leader or you are growing into that role, CAELI will give you new tools, perspectives, and support that will expand your leadership vision and effectiveness.

CAELI is open to Guild members and non-members. Participants include arts education stakeholders of all kinds: arts education administrators at nonprofit organizations and government agencies, independent teaching artists, as well as professionals from allied sectors, e.g., youth development, K-12 schools, mental health, and more.

Apply by April 7th to qualify for a reduced application fee. All applications are due April 14th.
This year there will be several special scholarship opportunities, including a scholarship for creative aging practitioners. Need-based financial aid and travel stipends are available.
