Helping Kids Manage Stress and Anxiety

Our free HOPE (Healing Online for People Everywhere) Series was created to enable our global community to build resilience through the arts during this unprecedented time. Learn more here.

Stress and anxiety weaken verbal communication in children and adults. In this time of home sheltering and school closures, families are more tested than ever by the impact of these challenging emotions. Luckily, art works when words don’t.

In this innovative workshop, learn simple and practical art therapy-based tools to nonverbally build connection when under stress, creatively calm stress responses, imaginatively transform worries and fears in children and teens, resourcefully soothe our own fears and anxiety, and much more.

Join us and engage in hands-on art activities to inspire novel ideas for addressing stress and anxiety at home or in therapeutic contexts. This online workshop is for anyone with a child in their life, personally or professionally. It is intended for adults only.
