YOU-TOPIA
JURIED VIRTUAL ART EXHIBITION ON SUMMITARTSPACE.ORG

MAY 2 – JUNE 13, 2020
AGES 15+

What does your YOU-Topia look like? Artists are constantly responding to the state of the world and creating pertinent work that shapes perspectives and impacts the future. A utopia is defined as an imagined place or state of things in which everything is perfect. During these unprecedented times, imagining a perfect or better world, a utopia, can temporarily relieve anxiety and bring comfort. For this virtual exhibition, artists are prompted to respond to current events and create work that imagines a better future. This future could be whimsical and colorful, or practical and just; perhaps it just celebrates going “back-to-normal.” Get your creativity flowing and share with us your YOU-Topia!

“The world always seems brighter when you’ve just made something that wasn’t there before.” – Neil Gaiman
