The group is celebrating the release of their new album, We Are the Orchestra. The Boston Globe describes the music as “a mix of jazz, folk, and minimalism”. The album features music from ‘Whitman at the Whitney,’ a theater production Bennett orchestrated at the Whitney Museum in New York. Bennett is joined by Koko Bermejo on percussion and keyboard.
