SalonEra Episode 7: Folk Influences

Presented by Les Délices at Online/Virtual Space

Nov 16 2020
SalonEra Episode 7: Folk Influences

Three violinists – Gail Hernández Rosa, Edwin Huizinga, and David McCormick – keep one foot firmly in the Baroque world and the other just outside.

Join us for an evening of music and conversation spanning Celtic tunes, traditional music from Spain, and research focused on Black musicians at Thomas Jefferson’s Virginia’s Monticello.

A salon experience for the 21st century, SalonEra stays timely and relevant in introducing a wide range of artists and performing traditions. Host Debra Nagy brings together regular contributors and special guests whose personalities, perspectives, and contributions set the stage for fascinating conversations and fulfilling artistic exchange. Unlimited by geography or program conventions, SalonEra is FULL of possibilities.
SalonEra streams FREE online, with a suggested donation of $10 per episode.
Episodes air at 7:30 pm ET
