Suffrage: Inequality. Persistence. Justice.

Suffrage: Inequality. Persistence. Justice. honors the women who fought and continue to fight to protect and defend women’s right to vote.

Suffrage: Inequality. Persistence. Justice. presents work from two Myers School of Art alums, Amber Anderson and Shani Richards, and five regional artists, including April Bleakney, Elizabeth Emery, Corrie Slawson, Adrienne Slane, and Rebekah Wilhelm. Suffrage will be on view through mid-December.

All exhibitions and events are free and open to the public.
October 22, 2020 – 6 pm – UA Connections Series: Suffrage: Inequality. Persistence. Justice.

November 12, 2020 – 6 pm – UA Connections Series: Female Artists Respond to the Women’s Movement

All events are located in Folk Hall on The University of Akron Main Campus. The gallery will have partial access on Tuesdays and Thursdays after 2pm. For more information call 330-972-6030.
