Akron-Summit Holocaust Education Administrator
As the Administrator, you will be responsible to set up and check-in with each committee/sub-committee of the Akron-Summit Council on Holocaust & Genocide Education. This position requires varied hours throughout the year depending on the events schedule. Hours vary between 0-60 hours per week, between 400-500 hours yearly. This position will coordinate a Holocaust Commemoration and Awards ceremony in the spring. Also, responsible for coordinating arts and writing projects with Summit County Schools for students in grades 6-12. Must work closely with teachers and schools. Any other events, such as seminars or other educational events, will be organized by the Administrator. Responsible for updates to the website, AkronSummitHolocaustEducation.org, and posts. Will write and make sure press releases are sent announcing events. Arrangement of monthly meetings and attendance. Send out monthly reminders and notices. Some graphic design knowledge would be helpful. The position will require working from home most of the time and would need to have own supplies to do so.
