Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Guitar Ensemble will be hosting a virtual recital on Friday, March 19 at 7:30 p.m.  The program will include works by UA student composers Jennifer James, Chandler Carpenter and Miguel Torres as well as works by Henry Mancini, Bud Powell, and Alfred “Pee wee” Ellis.  Dean Newton and Christopher Coles are the artistic directors for this evening’s recital.
