Join ArtsNow, Akron Civic Commons, Akron Zoo, Black Artist Guild, Ohio & Erie Canalway Coalition, The University of Akron, the Sojourner Truth Statue Committee, and Summit County Historical Society for the next event in our “ArtsNow Presents” series with Paul M. Farber PhD, Director of Monument Lab.

Monument Lab is a public art and history studio out of Philadelphia that cultivates and facilitates conversations around the past, present and future of monuments. Dr. Farber will explore this important and developing topic and the important role it plays in public art, public space and the community it resides in.

“ArtsNow Presents” is intended for artists and our creative community as well as historians, scientists, environmentalists and conservationists, public art enthusiasts, and anyone interested in learning more about the role art, environment, and history play in our communities.
