Assistant Professor (tenure-track) of Textiles

Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following:

Teach graduate and undergraduate courses in weaving, including hand processes: weaver-controlled and loom-controlled, digital weaving, as well as dyeing techniques significant to weaving.  Ability to teach other textile construction methods and processes is preferred; serve as advisor and committee member for senior and graduate thesis across studio art disciplines, mentor Graduate Teaching Assistant(s) and Adjunct Faculty; provide leadership and direction, including curriculum development for the program area; maintain an active program of creative / scholarly activity as an artist; perform appropriate university, community, and professional service.
