Graphic Artist for Podcast Cover Art

Jobs - DEADLINE :
Graphic Artist for Podcast Cover Art

NCCAkron is seeking a local graphic artist to develop cover art for our new podcast, How People Move People -see Creative Brief. The submittal date for a response via Google Form is December 7, 2022, at 6PM ET. The cover art will be featured on NCCAkron’s website, social media accounts, and all podcast hosting platforms utilized by NCCAkron.

Unlike our first podcast Inside The Dancer’s Studio where we collaborated with Dale Dong and Micah Kraus for the cover art, this new podcast How People Move People is a long-form podcast – four series crafted by different hosts of six episodes each. All four series will have a unifying ‘red thread’ of dance but aim to reach beyond that specific audience. The themes identified by an artist alum advisory council are more universal and human-centered: magic, awareness, care, wisdom, and embodiment.

Only the second organization of its kind in the nation, the National Center for Choreography at The University of Akron supports the research and development of new work in dance by exploring the full potential of the creative process. As an auxiliary nonprofit organization in its own right, separate from the University, NCCAkron builds partnerships with individuals and organizations across Northeast Ohio, acting as cultural matchmaker between local residents and national artists while also ensuring a range of diverse voices and perspectives are featured in its work.

If you have questions about this open call, please email Marketing & Communications Manager Christi Welter at cwelter@nccakron.org.
