Historically the use of the Boston Mills space was home for the Whittlesey, Ottawa and Seneca people. This led to the investigation on how they lived and used the river. Congregating, trading and canoeing along the river was their way of life and that became my inspiration to create a multi-use open space for our community to use together. “Finding Our Way Home ” is a culmination of listening and observing the way people currently engage the variety of spaces within the park. ... view more »
