Join a free panel discussion on priorities for advocacy for queer and transgender people of color, strategies for community building, and opportunities for allyship.

This event will bring together a panel of leaders within the Akron LGBTQ+ community to speak to priorities for advocacy for QTPOC, strategies for community building, and opportunities for allyship. Panelists will include speakers from various community organizations serving LGBTQ+ residents of Northeast Ohio.

This event is part of The University of Akron’s Rethinking Race event series, a two-week forum of events focused on facilitating “courageous conversations designed to promote inclusive excellence” regarding race and race-related issues.
