Michael Ashley’s paintings will be on display through August. Meet the artist on Saturday, August 5th, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm.
Michael Ashley’s paintings of our wild and natural world are created with intricately layered surfaces that glow with a quiet elegance.
He uses a variety of media, mixing inks, acrylics, and colored pencil, as well as graphite, oils, and watercolor.
Michael will join us on Saturday, August 5, between 3:00-5:00 pm. Come meet him and hear the stories behind his artwork. Light refreshments will be served.
Michael is an active member of the Artists for Conservation Society. Two of his paintings have been chosen for inclusion in their upcoming book. One of them, Juney’s View, is the centerpiece of our display.
